I must have been dropped on my head as a baby, because I’ve always had an intense love affair with sales (weird, right? I mean, who wouldn’t want to have doors slammed in their face and be hung up on on a regular basis?). That being said, there’s something about the ability to create an income that is a direct reflection of how hard I’m willing to work, as well as the opportunity it provides me to actually help clients and make a difference in their lives, that keeps me coming back for more.
In my 15 year selling career I’ve successfully sold everything from nutritional supplements to online advertising, and I’ve learned quite a bit along the way. Much of this learning has been acquired through pretty extreme adversity – revolving doors of managers, not-so-dreamy clients, etc. All of those challenges have forced me to sharpen my skills in order to succeed, not only in my job but in my day to day life.
Over the years I have developed a relentless passion for sales excellence and personal development. I start every day at 4am reading and educating myself on material related to sales, business or personal development, and then practice implementing what I’ve learned throughout the day. This daily habit has created a knowledge base for me that I’m literally busting at the seams to share with you. Once you start implementing the strategies that I have learned over the years your life will have no choice but to change and go in a more positive direction, as will your earnings. Not much in life is guaranteed, but that fact is.
I can personally attest to this – I’ve never made higher than a $36,000 base salary, but by implementing these strategies I’ve easily been able to earn a six figure income time and time again. Figuring this process out took me many years, which is why I’m excited to share all of my knowledge with you and help you bypass all the trial and error that I went through. My passion for sharing my strategy for success is what led me to the creation of Six Figure Sales Coaching, through which I partner with Southwestern Consulting to provide the most impactful and transformational coaching possible for my clients.
I’m a big believer in working hard in order to enjoy the fruits of our labor with those we love. That includes my family, my boyfriend Jason, my dogs Bailey and Lucy, and my parakeet. They motivate me every day and keep me excited to continue improving myself and adding value to everyone I meet.
In addition to coaching, I’m a co-host of the Linking Into Sales podcast where we come to you every other week with news and tips you can use to improve your social selling routine. Within my local community of Raleigh, NC, I’m the co-founder of the Triangle Sales Think Tank meetup group, Raleigh’s premiere networking event for sales professionals.
Outside of my professional life, I also run a charitable organization called The New Outlook Project. The New Outlook Project collects and delivers donations of personal development books directly to the residents of the public housing communities in my home town, Raleigh NC. Since these books have made such a big difference in my life I want to pay it forward to others who may not have had the chance to experience the life-changing impact they can make.
